Hi there, This goes out to all those who have ever thought negatively about their body. I'm writing this to anyone who doesn't like the way they look. This is for those who criticize their bodies. I'm talking to those who are self-conscious about their looks. So, listen up. I've got a story to tell. This is my story. I want to start this off by saying that I only realized all this after it had all happened. I didn't recognize the thoughts and my actions at the time. But, looking back I can now see what was going on. It's kind of like life is a highway and I can only see the giant pothole in the rear-view mirrors. With that said, today I wanted to tell my story of the wrestling match between me and my own body. I'm not telling this story because it's a pleasant one. I'm not telling this story because I enjoy thinking about it. I'm not trying to make you smile. I'm telling it because it's a part of my story and I hope that others...

I'm Going to Bible School!!!

April 14, 2018

Hi, So, I have something exciting to tell you about! Where do I start? I'm hoping to move to Texas next year! Shall I explain? Anyone who has kept up with my blog this past year would know that I've been trying to figure out what to do with my life after high school. At first, I wanted to be a missionary; Lebanon, Mongolia, Thailand. But God promptly closed all those doors. Then I wanted to move to Indiana. But I couldn't get a work visa. So, I was then going to move to Saskatchewan in Canada. But for multiple reasons, I believed it was best for me to stay. And one day I was sitting in a Cafe and I had a realization. I should go to Bible school! Why? This is a little bit of a story. Bonfire night with our last team. My parents met at Capernwray Hall in England. Capernwary or Torchbearers have centres all over the world. Mum went to the one in England and then the one in Germany. My father went to the one in Austria then the one in England. When we lived in C...

Our Little Wedding Plans

September 13, 2020

Hey there, It’s been a little while since I’ve written, but boy do I have news! I’ve been extremely busy this week, and I’d like to tell you why. As you may know, I’ve been living in Georgetown with Sarah and taking care of her daughter, Katie, since late May. But a couple of weeks ago, it was decided that it was time for me to move on. I had no clue where I wanted to go or what I wanted to do. Or rather, I had my dream, but I knew it wasn’t possible. Noah and I were supposed to have gotten married in July, and I was still hoping that would happen soon. However, COVID has been making that quite complicated—possible, but complicated. If this dream couldn’t come true, I knew that I wanted to stay in the area, and I knew that I didn’t want to move into someone’s basement again. God arranged some great people to help me search for a place and someone to rent with. We’re still sorting that one out. To buy me a little more time, my mom suggested I go to Quebec to visit family for...
