My Life By a Snapshot

Hi, Back in January of 2017, I told my testimony. However, testimonies are ever-evolving, ever-growing and ever-changing. As you grow and mature you see things that you've never seen before. As they say, hindsight is 20/20. Meaning that so often we can only see what was really happening when we look back on it. I recently applied for Bible school and a part of that was a written testimony. So, I decided to share it here too. I've tweaked it a little and edited it to be a little more appropriate for this platform. Hre's a warning. My story is a really long, complicated story. But, I think that everything is important. A lot of my story requires a lot of explaining. So, here we go! I had the great privilege to be raised in a solid Christian home. Church attendance was mandatory, even if we were on vacation. If I could say anything to the younger me this is what I would say... To the 5 year old me, You have the right to wear a bright pink skirts whenever you so desire! Sure wearing a skirt to go camping isn't practical, but you'll always look amazing...and cute. Trust me, it makes for very cute photos. Don't you ever give up on your dreams and don't listen or live for other people. You are a beautiful human being. Don't listen to the bullies and their words. Continue living to the fullest. Remember to just be the bubbly, fun loving kid you are for as long as you can without caring about other people's opinions. To the 10 year old me, You survived and came out stronger, congratulations. You will grow even stronger over the next years. And don't worry! Moving to Canada is not the end of the world. You will reconnect with the friends you are leaving behind and that bond you have to leave behind will be even stronger when you find each other again. And you...

Hi there, What is love? Love means somethings different for everyone. For some it may be as simple as 'a strong feeling of affection' or 'a great interesting or pleasure in something'. But for other people it could be more complex Than that. For them it may require certain traits like loyalty, honesty or even passion. And people express love in different ways too. Some people prefer to give gifts and other like quality time more. It all depends on who you are and I think how you were brought up. Some people demand more love and others need little. I my opinion love has traits. "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.
