The Children of Our Future World

Image
Hi all, The children you see are four of the children we are blessed to see each week. But they are only four of the children of Cambodia. Theses four children will be a part of the future Cambodia. We hope these children will help change Cambodia, to help Cambodia, along with the rest of their generation. The have a long way to go in life. Their story is incomplete. They have also come along way in life. You can see have they have scares just like you and me. They have seen things and lived through things harder than anything I have seen or lived through. They have so little and are of little value to so many. Yet these are the Children of the future Cambodia. We are leaving this world to them. They watch us. They observe our actions. Our actions influence them. Our actions may change their future, the children of the future world. Darcy-Rea P.s. I give credit to my mother for helping me capture these photos.

Precious Children

Dear readers, We are all different. We all come from a different place. We all have a different background. These children come from the slums of our city. They live on the streets. They feel hungry, they get  beaten, they are stripped of the right to go to school, they are forced to hit the streets to beg. Each and everyone of them are beautiful and I love them all. Three times a week the pastor, my parents and I get into a rickety old truck to collect these children. Some days we have 25 of them, other days we have 10. When the truck wheels come to a stop, the children come running from all directions. We wash them and their cloths, feed them and teach them about the love God has for them. The saddest thing about these children is that they are not loved. People here don't want to associate with them. Yes, they are dirty, but they can't help that. Yes they are wild, but they know no different. Yes, they come from the slums, but they cannot do anythin...

Our Trip

Image
Dear readers, We spent three nights away from home. From Monday to Thursday we were away. First we went to a feeding center in Kabour Village. There they feed over one hundred children every day, with only five staff. We met the children there and listen to them sing songs. That day they received school materials instead of food. We also went up there mountain, but we would call it a hill. There were just under two hundred steps. There were bright green rice fields and blue skies as far as the eye could see. The next day we drove further north to the David center, which is an orphanage. There we gave the children some uniforms that our church sent over. We also gave them some bracelets that some of the girls had made for them. We played with the kids and spent time with them. After two nights there we went to a church meeting before going to the Thai boarder to go to a market. Then we made the three and a half hour journey home. We had an amazing time away from home. In my o...
